The road to medicine is long, but that doesn't mean it has to be difficult. Life is what you make it and so is pre-med. So while you’re on this journey, fill it with experiences that fuel your “why”, connect with people who will support and challenge you, make memories that will last a lifetime, and most importantly, take time to be thankful for how far you’ve come and where you’re going.
Doctor-ish was created to share the good, bad, and in between. After all, they end up working together to write the story of the doctor you’ll become. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
About Me.
I am Kennedy Musgrave, a third year medical student at George Washington University. I graduated from Dillard University (â„… ‘23) with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. As the first person in my family to go to medical school, navigating the application process was a challenge to say the least, but with prayer, a few tears, and my amazing village, I was able to receive multiple acceptances and scholarships. I created Doctor-ish to share what worked for me, and pay homage to the support system that got me to this point. Welcome to the village!
